Wow, it’s hard to believe Christmas 2018 has come and gone. We’d like to give a huge thanks to all our returning customers and for those new to EduKits who have heard our story and supported the business by purchasing one of our products.

As we reflect on what was the lead up to Christmas there certainly was a fair amount of excitement and challenges. This year again our customers came from all parts of the world, with product shipped in addition to Australia to many parts of the US, UK, Canada and New Zealand. Shipping to Canada this year got just a little tricky with their postal service going on strike!

On the excitement front, Australia’s leading STEM retailer Australian Geographic approached us to sell The Amazing Annoyatron throughout their 58 store retail network. We also had the opportunity to have the product included in their Christmas catalogue drawing its attention to many Australian families interested in educational toys for their kids.

With a significant number of new users for our coding kit we were expecting a flood of support tickets to come in over Christmas. EduKits treated itself to a day off and left the computers powered down for Christmas. To our pleasant surprise for all the coding kits sold both from the EduKits website and through retail stores there were minimal requests for support which is a testament to the work put into the printed and online instructions.

We are humbled to hear stories from parents about how their kids have loved using The Amazing Annoyatron and about the time they are spending together putting together circuits and tinkering with the code.

For all the kids out there, we love getting mail, so feel free to send us a message, letting us know about the projects you’ve enjoyed most.
