{"id":468,"date":"2021-09-12T08:45:00","date_gmt":"2021-09-11T22:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edukits.co\/magazine\/?p=468"},"modified":"2023-03-23T08:27:54","modified_gmt":"2023-03-22T21:27:54","slug":"2022-22-make-able-challenge-dates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/edukits.co\/magazine\/news\/2022-22-make-able-challenge-dates\/","title":{"rendered":"Get Ready for the 2021-22 Make:Able Challenge"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Following on from the success of the 2020-21 make:able challenge dates have been released for this year&#8217;s challenge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dates to add to your calendar are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1 November 2021 &#8211; Competition opens<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1 May 2022 &#8211; Last date for receipt of submissions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year&#8217;s competition saw entry registrations of 17,000 students across 72 countries. This year we are hoping to surpass that number as students work towards designing and making a product (or prototype) that improves the day-to-day life of someone with a disability or the elderly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To assist teachers to navigate their classes through the challenge there is an online toolkit available complete with resources and lesson plans.
