EduKits Founder Michael Nixon was a guest speaker yesterday at the Take Charge – Riverina Leadership Forum which aimed to inspire a youth collective comprising the region’s biggest thinkers, dreamers and aspirational leaders.
A particular theme for the day was a showcase of local digital creatives and included James Farley, a former finalist in the Sony World Photography Organisation Student Prize, and EduKits’s own Michael Nixon, a former finalist in the international Breakthrough Junior Challenge for his science video on Schrödinger’s Cat.
Nixon impressed the crowd with a high-energy presentation involving explosions, falling meteors and cute dogs not afraid to press big red buttons. Amongst the chaos was a clear message that with time and effort skills develop and even though we may have geographic disadvantage we can still achieve success on a global stage.
