Commencing a start-up from a regional area is a difficult task. With major markets a days drive from your home base it can be difficult to keep costs low while you find customers and build your business.
One benefit of being in a regional area is the support you get from the start-up community and from the mentors that have trodden the path before you.
To help out new entreprenuers EduKits is getting behind a new regional landing pad called Hubb Hubb. It will be an event space, a meeting place and a learning place all in the name of helping grow and develop the local business community.
Driving the initiative is Dianna Somerville and Simone Eyles (both who’ve achieved success in business) who are on a personal mission to help facilitate 100 regional startups by 2020.
