Lesson plan to help students explore practical 3D Printing constraints

Just released on our PrintLab lesson plan portal is a new
lesson giving students real world insights into some of the limitations of using 3D printers for small scale manufacturing.

Using their slicing software, students will adjust settings and calculate a range of factors including print times, material costs and operational strategies for 8 scenarios provided in a printable student workbook.

The lesson plan provides teachers with all they need to run this 1 hour learning session, giving practical insights, application and experience with some of the types of decisions that are made daily within industry.
