This year EduKits is onboard with Trend Micro and their poster competition for kids aged 8-12 years on the theme “How can I be a good digital citizen”. The competition is open to kids attending schools in Australia and New Zealand with some serious prize money on offer.
For 1st place there’s a sweet $1,500; 2nd place will be getting an awesome $1,000; and third place is also a way cool $750. But wait, there’s more! Not only will the poster designer be getting a bundle of loot, their school will also receive a donation of the same amount.
This year a fantastic panel of Judges has been assembled from industry, government, and the media. Rounding out this years panel is high school student, EduKits founder and graphics guru – Michael Nixon.
“What this competition is awesome at doing is igniting creativity and opening the door for families and schools to chat to children about internet safety and what it means to be a good digital citizen”.
